Mix up the school holiday routine and get the family out of the house with a trip to Moonlit Sanctuary. Our wildlife park is full of cute and cool Aussie animals that are bound to remove “iPad” from your family’s vocabulary for the day. Get the kids off the screens and into Moonlit Sanctuary’s wide open spaces or take an extra special guided night tour that you all will remember for years to come.
Moonlit Sanctuary is an adventure suitable for the whole family. Little ones will love to see wombats, dingoes, koalas and wallabies and older kids will get a kick out of seeing all the snakes, turtles and lizards the park has to offer.
There are more than 70 Australian animal species to spot including several endangered species you won’t commonly find in the wild.
Moonlit Sanctuary is located at the top of the Mornington Peninsula and is on the way to Philip Island.
If you have some junior wildlife lovers ready to get outdoors over the school holidays, our holiday programs are the ideal activity.
In the school holiday program kids enjoy environmental activities, animal encounters and native animal care.
We have two holiday programs running over the winter school holidays!
Keeper Club – For 7-14 year-old nature lovers
Conservation Club – For secondary school aged aspiring conservationists
Hang back after closing time and book the family in for a guided night tour. A guide will take you around the park after dark to check in on our nocturnal population.
