You can cuddle up to a koala, play with the dingoes, hold an owl or python, stroke a wombat, take a dingo on a walk or take a private tour or discover the behind-the-scenes experience. There’s also a Threatened Species Tour where you can get up close to some of Australia’s most endangered species.
For the wellbeing of our animals, encounters may be cancelled in event of extreme local weather conditions.

Koala Encounters will be cancelled during extreme local weather conditions.
Depending on weather and animal reactions other encounters may be cancelled or shortened without notice. We thank you for understanding.
Booking in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment particularly with the Wombat Encounter, Barn Owl Encounter, Dingo Encounter or Walk and Behind the Scenes tour. Koala and Python Encounters can usually be purchased at the ticket box when you come to the Sanctuary.
