When visiting Moonlit Sanctuary you must:
• obey requests and instructions from our staff;
• comply with all signs;
• wear footwear and shirts/tops at all times;
• remain behind all fences and natural barriers;
• supervise children under 15 who are with you. Adults and carers are responsible for persons under their supervision. Adults and carers must be 16 years or older;
• have a valid ticket or entry pass;
• retain entry tickets and show our staff on request;
• treat Sanctuary staff and other visitors with respect. Any type of harassment or bullying will not be tolerated;
• be responsible for your own personal property as we will not be responsible for any loss.
When visiting Moonlit Sanctuary you must not:
• be intoxicated or behave in an argumentative, quarrelsome, aggressive or disorderly manner;
• partake in any type of activity or use any item that may impact other Visitor’s safety or enjoyment;
• wear clothing which in the opinion of Moonlit Sanctuary, is offensive to other visitors;
• feed animals with food other than the animal food sold for this purpose. Animal food that is purchased is to be fed to kangaroos and wallabies only;
• bring in animals (other than guide dogs and assistance dogs, which are permitted in select areas of the Property);
• act unsafely towards yourself or others;
• interfere with any plant, nest or animal habitat or enclosure;
• be in any exhibits or any area that is closed to the public;
• wade, swim or bathe in any lake, pond or stream on its Property;
• dress or behave in a way that may adversely affect other people’s enjoyment at the Sanctuary;
• play any games or sports that could annoy animals or people or cause a nuisance;
• offer to sell or hire any goods or services;
• broadcast anything, give a public lecture or distribute any written materials;
• smoke, vape or use any e-cigarettes;
• bring in or use balloons, balls, water pistols, musical instruments or whistles or make very loud noises;
• bring in or use scooters, skates, skateboards, tricycles or bikes;
• put up beach umbrellas, tents or gazebos;
• leave litter;
• take photographs, films, recordings or make artwork for public display, for commercial purposes or for inappropriate use;
• drive or park a vehicle anywhere except designated parking areas;
• operate drones (or any such aircraft);
• bring in portable BBQs;
• consume food and/or drinks not purchased at the Property inside the café or on the café deck.
Moonlit Sanctuary reserves the right to:
• refuse entry or remove any person from the Property or any part of the premises for failure to comply with any of these Conditions of Entry;
• cancel encounters in event of extreme local weather conditions or for animal welfare reasons;
• close the Property at times other than advertised;
• change trading times and prices of encounters and special events without notification;
• conduct bag checks;
• capture your image on security cameras that are placed throughout the Property;
• use any photographs or film footage of you during your visit for promotional purposes without any payment to you;
• modify these Conditions of Entry at any time.
