During this close-up encounter, you can touch and get up close to one of our very friendly koalas in a special one-on-one or small group experience.
Remember to bring your phone or camera as you can snap your own photos and come away with the perfect selfie of your koala encounter.
Your koala encounter not only gives you a chance to connect with and learn about this iconic species, but you can also feel great knowing your experience is supporting our vital conservation work.
Please note that you do not hold the koala in this encounter.
KOALA ENCOUNTERS MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE. Encounters open for booking three months ahead, releasing in the first week of the month.

To reduce waiting time for this popular activity, you will receive a more precise time for your encounter upon arrival.
The encounter is a brief experience, however, please plan at least 15 minutes for possible wait times on public holidays or during school holidays.
Group size: Ticket holders can enter the encounter pod individually or in small groups.
Price: $30 per person.
Age: Children aged 4 years and above must have a ticket. One child under 4 years old can take part with one paying adult.
Visitors must be able to understand and follow Keeper safety instructions (for guest and animal welfare)
