    Accessible access for wheelchairs at Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Park
Moonlit Sanctuary is easily accessible for those with limited mobility, or who have prams to manage, with access provided by ramps and wide doors throughout the Sanctuary.

Toilets with full disabled access and baby change facilities are located in the cafe and gift shop building.

Easy to access

  • Accessible car parking
  • Ramps into and out of cafe and gift shop building – there are no steps or stairs
  • Easy to get around

The ground is flat to undulating, with compressed gravel paths that link all exhibit areas.
There are numerous benches situated around the Sanctuary so you can always find a seat to take a breather.
Please note that there are wood chip paths at some exhibit areas.

Useful facilities

  • Wheelchairs are available for loan free of charge
  • Accessible toilet facilities are adjacent to the visitor centre
  • Baby change table available for use

Service Animals

Assistance animals that are certified by a registered authority are welcome at Moonlit Sanctuary.

However, for the safety of both your animal and our animals, assistance animals are not permitted at:

  • the Wallaby Walk
  • all walk-in aviaries
  • the right hand side of the sanctuary from the eagle enclosure onward
  • the show arena
  • close-up encounters

We also ask that you don’t approach any of our free roaming animals.

Our admissions staff can answer any queries you may have about your assistance animal, as well as provide maps and any further assistance. Just ask us when you arrive.
