• Python with keeper and visitors at Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park

Keeper Club

If you have some junior wildlife lovers ready to get outdoors over the school holidays, our Keeper Club holiday program is the ideal activity.

In the school holiday program kids enjoy environmental activities, animal encounters and native animal care. Groups are small, with a maximum of 16 children.

A typical day includes interactions with cockatoos, reptiles and nocturnal animals that are usually off-limits to the public. Junior Keepers help with feeding animals and animal enrichment activities.

Our school holiday program offers a hands-on experience to learn about our animals, their conservation and the environment.

For ages  7-14 years.

8:45am sign in – 9:00am start, 2:00pm finish

Dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes, long pants and remember your hat or raincoat. Bring morning tea and a water bottle.

You can BYO lunch or purchase at the café.

Bookings are essential as places are limited to 16 participants each day.

Dates for the autumn program will be released in March. If you would like to be notified when bookings are open, please click below and complete the form.

Special Needs Junior Keeper Club

We are also running a Special Needs Keeper Club in the spring school holidays on Thursday, 28th September.

1:45pm sign in – 2:00pm start, 4:30pm finish.

Who is the Special Needs Keeper Club program for?

The Special Needs Keeper Club program provides an opportunity for children who love animals but are unable to attend our mainstream Keeper Club program due to specialised learning or physical needs, and who may require additional support from a parent, guardian or carer.

It is anticipated that those attending the program are children who have a particular affinity with animals and a desire to care for them.
