Junior Keeper Club

Spring Keeper Club is cancelled but keep an eye on this page for news about the summer holiday program.

If you have some junior wildlife lovers looking forward to the end of lockdown and getting outdoors over the spring school holidays our Keeper’s Club holiday program is the ideal activity.

In the school holiday program kids enjoy environmental activities, animal encounters and native animal care. Groups are small and social distancing will be in place as necessary.

A typical day includes interactions with cockatoos, reptiles and nocturnal animals that are usually off-limits to the public. Junior Keepers help with feeding animals and animal enrichment activities.

This program books out fast and we offer full refunds if lockdowns are extended or put in place.

Our school holiday program offers a hands-on experience to learn about our animals, their conservation and the environment.

Special Needs Junior Keeper Club

We are also running a Special Needs Keeper Club these holidays

Who is the Special Needs Keeper Club program for?

The Special Needs Keeper Club program provides an opportunity for children who love animals but are unable to attend our mainstream Keeper Club program due to specialised learning or physical needs, and who may require additional support from a parent, guardian or carer.

It is anticipated that those attending the program are children who have a particular affinity with animals and a desire to care for them.
